Looks pretty stupid for Skyshrine, I recall that place being ornate and gorgeous (they are dragons after all). Why are there rocks and falling light posts all over the ground? Makes for traveling (autofollow) a nightmare. The dragons can’t keep their city clean? Are there going to be dragons (mobs) or soemthing in the city? Cause fighting in that tangle of mess seems retarded.
    Doesn’t look good so far…

    Skyshrine

Old EverQuest vets will recognize Skyshrine, the home of the Claws of Veeshan dragons, although it was originally located in the Wakening Lands (according to the lore, they’ve been corrupted by some sort of magic). The city is under siege, and players will have the chance to help the dragons and save the city from destruction. It will include solo, group, and raid instances, so it looks like there’s something for everyone.

    — Well I guess that’s why the city is in rambles (though I dont care for orange and browns). Stilly looks silly to navigate. I despise jumping to get over a bench or up a ledge (Kael)

While it looks pretty, I’m a bit concerned there’ll be a lagfest.

I thought it looked good — he did say all the wreckage was from the drama of the invasion (it’s an embattled city, they can’t really clean up). I am a terrible jumper, myself, but I can understand how they would want to make it a little more interesting by putting obstacles in the way.

I like the idea of fighting in a different environment than just a big, empty room. Maybe I won’t like it later, but I am sure if they did take out all the obstacles people would complain it was boring!

At least it’s not a confusing maze … I can’t stand those. Looks like obstacles, not a pattern to navigate.

I have been testing Skyshrine and I will warn you, you are not walking around any of the city without a fight. The actual city is more or less a contested dungeon, than an actual city.

So, sort of like Maj’Dul then?

    Faction grinds, here we come…bah.

Lol, a lot more violent. There is a mender in the center area that you can gain enough faction to use but other than that, it’s not a city. Everything in the 3 districts are agro and mean.
