LIVE EVENTS

Frostfell

  • Permafrost Crypt: Decorating Retribution – The music has been silenced.
  • Permafrost Crypt: Decorating Retribution – The zone is now persistent in the case of disconnection. So, players should be less likely to lose advancement.
  • The crafted snappy red, blue & green helmets are no longer heirloom.

QUESTS

General

  • Good-aligned characters should be able to speak with the Shades of the Great Truespirit.

The City of Freeport

  • Weaponsmith Xass has set up a new place of business within the Coalition of Tradesfolke building.  You can find him near Jonak Harvester.  He’s a bit picky about where he sets up shop, you see.
  • The Functional Clockwork used on the quest “Battle of Wits” should no longer attract undue attention.

“Guards that are level 95 in Freeport Militia House have been lowered to Level 65.”
No doubt because of HQ’s and betrayal quests, that SOE seems to constantly forget about when they do major updates to any of the cities. Since they forget them a lot, why not just move the quests to a more convenient location? For the assassin HQ, give us another location instead of walking into an enemy city anyway. Same for the other quests. Betrayal quests can be slightly modded so you don’t need to go into the cities. With the revamp of freeport, the betrayals could be worked to take place in instanced hoods. And when it’s Qeynos’s turn for a revamp, same goes for it. Just my opinion. 🙂

    @LEJONI

That bug probably took less than 15 sec to fix, and your bitching about it? If they did not fix it, bet you would still bitch that they DID NOT fix it… *facepalm*

Not for sure what *palmface* is… is that where you slap your face with your palm? Or, you know, like maul the face, but with the palm in stead of claws?

    “Let’s fix some stuff.”
    “OK, what’s easy?”
    “That warder message thing.”
“Great, got that done, put it in the patch notes!”

Um not trying to bash anyone really… but I think priorities are a little skewed here… I don’t want give out loot tomorrow if I can’t scroll down the list. What I did last time was looted the item myself and then gave it to the winner which is less of a pain than the raid leader making winners looters but it’s still a pain. Please let this be fixed tomorrow. I think my keyboard and mouse will fly if it’s not.

Way to make this seem like a bigger update than it actually is, oh, and thanks for fixing the things that actually effect gameplay.

I’m sure if they were capable of fixing more bugs at once “without” creating new ones they would.

I’ll take any pace of bug fixing as long as it doesn’t create new ones. I give a big thumbs up if they have learned when they release fixes too rapidly (For the resources they have available) they aren’t helping anyone if they create more problems for themselves, and the player base.

I’d still like to know how they can break things apparently unrelated to anything they’re supposedly doing at any given time. Drop down boxes, anyone?

Still waiting for some sort of update to their pathing issues that broke auto-face.

FYI – don’t do the new 3 quest series Goddess Risen from New Halas until they patch it. The first quest might leave you perma-stunned, the second one will trap you in perpetual crash in a Shard of Love instance which will likely get patched tomorrow.

Why hasn’t the raid loot window issue not been fixed yet?
