Interesting numbers there, though not surprising numbers. Time will tell if this matches with what actually happens 🙂

I am surposed by the numbers myself, that most folks think it might be a sucsess. I can say that on guk nobody is using it. Not sure about the other servers. The past 2 days I spent 5-7 hours in que.

It’s good they are tracking DF so closely. I’m sure they are already working on cross realm functionality and have the figure in front of them on queue times for each server. Other than that I think mentor level inclusion is huge. With DYOD content needing to be earned come AoD I bet mentored functionality is already being worked on as well.

The thing has been super popular on AB. I have used it several times and Zanadi has been using it a lot. I can’t say that i have waited mor than minute or two for a group yet. It’s a bit longer the more specific you make your list. I think the people who are complaining about long queue times are most likely trying to get into a specific zone or two. Leaving it on all the zones at random seems to almost eliminate any wait time. In the very least it is much faster and streamlined than using /lfg or shouting in channels.
Aside from having a couple odd group builds, everything seems to be working good for us. My one complaint is that it needs a job role checkbox like the /lfg has. My monk is setup for DPS, not tanking, but when i queue him up, it flags him as a tank because of his class. With the old /lfg system, I could flag myself as dpr ans off/backup tank.

I’ve tried it this weekend, and overall was disappointed. I hope that with some time it will be better, but I always ended up with old dungeons with random on all the time always Vesty Deep Conservatory or Library, when i tried to get rid of the old zones I didn’t want to do it was 0 pops for anything we really wanted to do like pools/ascent/spire/zek zones, and we were queueing as a tank/healer combo. Also not all the zones are even included, would be nice to have options for Cella and Research halls since they are part of Epic Repercussions. Hopefully as time goes on things will get better. Also with any dungeon finder, it seems you lose part of the social aspect of the game with some of the people you end up with that don’t even talk in chat or voice.

The numbers are surprisingly disconnected from the experiences had on Everybody and Unrest. Maybe they have fewer ex-WoW players wanting the WoW-like feature. There’s no doubt that Blizzard knows their players better than Sony. It does seem that SOE is making a genuine effort to know Blizzard users a lot better, too.

@Feldon: Are the results the same if each up subnet gets only 1 vote or anonymous discounted? It should be, but curious.

I think this survey needs to be rerun after people have actually had a chance to use Dungeon Finder for a bit.

Well, I’ve tried Dungeon Finder, and I’m less than impressed. Queued up my level 90 ranger and I got an instant invite. I accepted the invite and was transported to Hold of Rime: the Ascent. I was promptly kicked from the group, was kicked out of the dungeon and then I was unable to queue up again. Yay Dungeon Finder! >fizzle<

Nothin but bugs…gotta love it. Got zoned into a Temple instance with not one named mob in the zone. Nothing worked. Mind you this was the first day it was live. Can we expect any less?
