Will of a Tyrant free-to-play for 3 Weeks?
We are getting reports that inactive EQ2 accounts have been reactivated to coincide with the launch of the Will of a Tyrant game update. Folks are reporting that their cancelled accounts are now showing as active for the next 3 weeks.
It’s unknown why this has been kept a secret or not communicated, but we thought it would be worth posting.

Yeah I saw someone post about it on the main eq2 message boards. I checked and both my accounts are active again. Just in time for frostfell.

none of the companies did communication before theyve sent the emails. it was just a hey big changes in AoC many bugfixes n stuff come see with your free play time and decide to come back or not. lotro the same etc.

I get emails from Blizzard offering me free time to come back and try the game all the time. I don’t think there is a mmo that doesn’t do this anymore and it is good marketing.
