Rumor: Fan Faire Schedule Still Up-in-the-Air
We’re less than 3 weeks away from Fan Faire, and we have heard that there is some significant shuffling of the Fan Faire panel schedule still going on with some surprise panels planned. Although we expect the important panels to fall within the 9am-6pm time slots on Friday and Saturday, if you’ve been trying to nail down anything more specific, you may want to wait a bit.
We wouldn’t be surprised to see a few EQNext panels shoved into the morning hours. We’ve been told to expect a full reveal of PlanetSide Next and a lot of EverQuest II news including the 25th race CLASS.
UPDATE: I must have been half-asleep as I put race above. Of course I meant class. 😉
We’ve heard from a lot of folks who are absolute regulars of Fan Faire and have attended many years who can’t make it this year due to the economic calamity downturn that continues to ravage the US. Looks like registration numbers are on the lean side:

Pretty sure that was a typo. Smokejumper said it was a Class, not race. That has been the talk since then.
Can’t wait to see everyone at FF again this year. I hope we get a chance to snag Feldon for a few minutes while we are there. I would love to get an interview with him for the show.

Really wish I had booked up here although its a big trip from the UK, kind of fingers crossed that the event carries on the same next year when I definitely will be going.

We wanted to go again this year but the timing during peak time means more than $4,000 in air fares alone from here. It looks like I’ll be armchairing this one here at the Wire. Thanks for doing that, Feldon.
Where’s the best place to post to get a question asked in the panels? If I only get one, I want to know if we’ll likely get the ability to have multiple subscriptions per account (i.e. Multiple subs linked to the same pool of toons).
I don’t know if I’m alone here, but it’s my MWNF (most wanted new feature).

Has anyone heard if this new class is going to be pvp only? Heard a rumor and of course that is all it is at this point. Looking forward to hearing some more from fan faire, unless it is pvp only then we will have to send rioting zombies after them.
