An unintended consequence of today’s Hotfix seems to be that certain players have been unable to equip their Mythical weapons. Players affected include those who have not progressed in the Epic Repercussions quest. Xelgad has posted this comment:
We’re aware of the issue and looking into a fix. In the meantime, please use the /petition command to contact Customer Service if your weapon cannot be equipped. They’ll be able to fix your weapon for you.
UPDATE: This issue is related to the Balanced Ayr Stone adornment which used to provide +3% Parry and was applicable to weapon slots. On March 1st, it was changed to a less powerful adornment. In Today’s Update, this adornment was internally changed to a Neck Only adornment, but someone forgot to make the adornment auto-remove itself from main hand weapons.

They want us to use the petition command ? Good F-ing luck with that. The petition command is soooo useless now it is pathetic. I have feedback’d and bugged the petition command. I tried to reprort a problem, but the damned command took me to a knowledge web page with no user friendly way of conveying any sort of message to SoE. I suppose that is what they do not want. They do not want to add work load to the CS reps … best way to do that is to keep the players from sending petitions.
petition is easy to use, although not user friendly with the in game browser that pops up. /petition, pop up, click in game support, and fill out all the info. Just in case the page messes up, highlight all your body text and ctrl+c it to copy it, making it so you can paste it back in if an error happens.
What was the point of this change anyways?
