We’re now 8 hours past the scheduled completion time for today’s maintenance and players are still reporting sporadic issues with having either no Loyalty Tokens or a fraction of what people used to have. Others are unable to login to all their characters as their accounts aren’t showing the full access and character slot count they are supposed to.

EverQuest II has been back up for a while now, however players have noticed that Loyalty Tokens are currently reporting a value of zero. However there is nothing to worry about as Daybreak’s companywide Maintenance is still running, which affects account features. Loyalty Tokens are actually a hidden account feature that is incremented as they are earned and decremented as they are spent.
It is unknown if tokens earned during the maintenance will be saved, so I might hold off on running those quests for now.
I got 2 locked toons as well, what a mess. They should not allow us to come up until they get this stuff sorted out
Well something is wrong, I can’t login I keep getting Invalid name or password. I had no problem before the servers went down…..
As a player since launch, I have developed a wise a rule – never play until all account-related maintenance is well & truly over and no-one is reporting problems. 🙂
Is the manintenance finished or not? I still have 3 toons loocked :S 16:49 EST
It is 16:06 cst and still all 3 accounts yes all 3 have 2 locked toons, zero loyalty tokens, and zero account age. Why is the game still up they should be doing a rollback and figure out what they screwed up. They still say it is maintenance. However something is way wrong.
Agree madrat. I can’t understand why the servers are up. If for a simple server maintenance, they “broke” the accounts, I don’t want to think about the server merge…
Server merge is local to the game team. All this account stuff happens at the Platform level.
Seriously Daybreak what the hell have you done? I still cannot log into the EverQuest 2 Forums, account management or into the game.

Ok a quick update, I finally was able to log in but only if I did not use my EQ2 Authenticator, so username only and password but do not use your Authenticator.
And now for the latest I got this email from customer service about the ticket I put in about locked toons, zero account age and no loyalty tokens. By the way I logged in after getting the email, and my account is still messed up. It sounds like they have no clue of what they are doing.

Well, I have no vet tokens this evening. Account age 0 days. Haven’t checked my army of slots.

looks like they got it figure out, my account age looks kind of correct, as well as i got loyalty tokens now
Not sure if there is a relation but when i started researching a new GM spell on an alt it needed 53 days to complete….
In other words if the research assistant nerfed?
I had 334 (approx) loyalty tokens before the “issues” yesterday- now i have 2. VERY unhappy ;(
It came right about partway through last night. (Was busy killing raid mobs and taking their stuff at the time… )
