Feldon Players on Butcherblock and Antonia Bayle, two of the servers which were not supposed to be affected by this morning’s 5:30-7:00am maintenance, were unable to enter housing, group, or raid zones (instances), and began receiving Server Announcements indicating that their servers were coming down at 5:30am:
Originally, only Guk, Everfrost, Crushbone, Permafrost and Oasis were scheduled to be brought down for extended maintenance. But it looks like someone didn’t get the memo as now ALL EQ2 servers are down and login servers are not responding:
We can only guess that all EQ2 servers will be down through 8:00am PDT (11:00am EDT, 17:00 BST, and June 26th @ 1:00am AEST).

I didn’t even bother to load up my computer until just now since I’m on Everfrost… I have to admit that I’m bemused and not surprised (didn’t this happen last time there was a split downtime?).
Who cares?
Two hours of downtime is really work freaking out over?
The issue was miscommunication.
Also, there have been a growing number of problems with Login servers in the last few weeks, with widespread reports of players getting a “You’ve been banned” message for sometimes an hour or more.
It’s not about the 2 hours of downtime.
I hope they address all the login server problems. It has been bad for the last two weeks. I was one of those folks who was in game, got booted while zoning, and then got the you been banned message. So I would like to know what they are doing about the login servers myself. 2 hours of downtime is nothing, anybody remember the weeks on end downtime when they got hacked, yet I am still here. However they need to look at what is messing up the login servers and get somebody fixing it.
I am one that got you are banned message on both my accounts and I am on the Bicherblock server as well!
Hopefully it also fixes that “Your account is in use” message I get when I zone sometimes, happens about 1-in-20? but at least a few times a night for the last 2 weeks
