It’s kind of poopy that the recipe books, with their myriad of recipes, are single use.

It’s no different to giving you a pattern with a bunch of choices. It’s not a bad idea, IMHO. So what what was the messed up component? I saw the book drop but didn’t see an issue. Mustn’t have looked close enough.

the cost of the items went up example book 4 went from 126 Mats to roughly 1500 mats

Doh!
I’m not sure how many kills it’ll take to get the materials, but I see a dozen guilds or less that’d be willing to have 24 people raid multiple nights to get one person a new ring. The only exception might be Trakabotter on Unrest rolling with a 1 man raid, but that’s not really the norm.
So what’s the right gear rate per named? 1, 2,…?
