This is exciting news, not the least of which because of the ability to chat in-game and through guild chat from your iPhone/iPad. Also, a cursory look at character and guild info makes it clear that this app is built on the new Data Feeds platform and not the troubled EQ2Players which will some day be phased out.

Nice, downloading already. Funny thing that SOE haven’t given a word out of this. Except a vote on the launcher if someone would be interested in this.
A broker access would be sweet tho :p

    This is pretty cool.

I bought all the kids an itouch for xmas, i don’t have one (yet). Although i write code for a living, i’m really into computers bla, bla, bla i’ve not really taken to these head in the sand devices? Fallen Earth goes as far as letting you use the broker to buy and sell. If any game I’m into in the future has something similar to the EQ2 app with the functionality of Fallen Earth, I’ll be making a stop on the way home one night.

I always like how so many people want to play the game without actually playing the game.

I’d so love it if they gave an option to craft from it as well. It’s a boring, time consuming activity that is well suited to the minutes of downtime we have in odd places. Hmm – like while grocery shopping, for example! 😉
