  1. The Freeblood Cloud of Bats . . . really? It is an UGLY graphic, a re-tool (emphasis on the word “TOOL”) of an LON illusion, that was a worthless flying mount . . . EXCEPT for the fact it could be CAST WHILE MOVING! I’m at work, and haven’t tried it, but, if it works like other mounts, that’s not gonna happen now . . .

The ONLY reason I used it was, if I was on a ground mount (or none at all) I could quickly turn off my ground mount and cast Cloud of Bats AS I was falling . . . and fly safely away. Or, at the very least, I could throw on a “floating cloak” and still cast it while I was floating down and not have to wait until the bottom to cast a flying mount.

I paid extra for it. I was disappointed with the look of it after paying for it, but at least it was functional. If they’re going to change it now, after almost 2 1/2 years, I want my Station Cash back . . .

  2. The Freeblood mount spell Cloud of Bats is now a proper mount, accessed from the Mounts window.

The only real reason I can see to do this is to allow Freebloods to use the cloud of bats appearance while using a flying mount with stats as their actual mount. If this is the case, then why only Freebloods and not Fae and Arasai? I know I would like to have the appearance of flying with my wings while taking advantage of the stat mounts. And this is possible when using the appearance wings from the Marketplace. So as of right now, the only toons who can’t have the appearance of flying with wings (or as cloud of bats as vampires do) while getting the benefits of stat mounts, are the the fae and arasai, the only races that actually have wings. Kinda stupid.
