*This event doubles the base status earned by defeating encounters, or rewarded from quests. Guild status is rewarded from that base amount, so yes it is in effect doubled.
In related news, status prices on several popular City Merchant offerings have been increased by up to 150%.

Oh Boy! I can’t hardly wait for the next bonus XP weekend now. Will they increase the amount of XP needed for a level by x3 too?
And they’re raising the amount of status needed to reach the next guild level by up to 150%.

It’s a bad joke about the spell research price increase and a load of BS.
It’s either bugged or they mislabeled it.
Status is not doubling. Guild XP is doubling 🙁
