Daybreak Games Login Issues Last Night

Why are we reporting on a login server outage yesterday afternoon that’s already been resolved? Because communication on the forums was especially good this time around and we report good news too. Don’t worry though, the comments will make up for it.

EQ/EQ2 Executive Producer Holly “Windstalker” Longdale and Community Manager Mepps (who normally tends the DCUO community) pitched in to keep players informed in a “Can’t Log in” forum thread, as well as on Facebook and Twitter.

As a bonus, it was pointed out that the product specifications and marketing information for EverQuest II on the Steam Marketplace has not been updated in three years. Windstalker agreed that this needed to be updated pronto to include the last two expansions and other details.

Thanks for keeping an eye on things while the march towards EverQuest II’s twelfth expansion continues!

wait, we are having an expansion? There has been so little said I thought they forgot about it. Seriously though, even a little PR about what’s coming would be better than what we have now. ;(

Hopefully db figured out that campaigns were not the way to go. I want an expac that has all the goodies, and not to be picked apart and sold one peace at a time.

I am doubtful of that. In fact I have not even even seen any copyright chatter on new names for what is coming out. At this point they are not talking as I doubt they even have a PR team anymore.

Yes that’s the second prelude quest for the expac.

Very cool of Mepps to join in with status updates.
Oh, I’m on extended family visit with no gaming ability (wah) will we still be able to run the first prelude after the second goes live? Hmmm, would you even know that? The building I’m staying in was designed for earthquakes some 40 years ago and they had no idea of how technology would progress. Slow as molasses can’t even describe the connection lol
