US EverQuest II Live Servers will be brought offline on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at approximately 7:00AM PST. Estimated downtime is 1 hour.

EU EverQuest II Live Servers will be brought offline on Tuesday, February 3 , 2015 at approximately 9:00PM PST. (Approx. 5:00AM London Time on February 4, 2015) Estimated downtime is 1 hour.

Alle deutschsprachigen Server werden um 6:00 CET am 04.02.2015 zwecks einer Serveraktualisierung heruntergefahren. Die vorgesehene Stillstandszeit wird etwa 1 Stunde(n) betragen.

Le serveur de langue française sera arrêté à 6:00 CET le 04-02-2015 pour une mise à jour du serveur. Le temps d’arrêt sera d’environ 1 heure.

LEVEL AGNOSTIC DUNGEONS
General

  • Maximum Level for Agnostic Dungeons has been increased to level 94, with a new set of level 90 equipment.
  • Lower level player damage has been rebalanced to bring it closer to higher levels on a per-ability basis.
  • Many creatures have given up the life of playing an underappreciated utility class, resulting in less crowd control effects and debilitating debuffs (particularly to lower level characters).
  • In general, groupwide detrimentals have been toned down to make things friendlier for lower level players.
  • Mercenaries and pets will now benefit from the out of combat power regen effect granted by the Agnostic Playing Field buff.
  • Rare spawn named mobs found in certain dungeons will no longer cast Mandate.

The Agnostic Playing Field buff now also confers the following benefits:

  • 100% Casting Speed
  • 100% Reuse Speed
  • 50% Ability Recovery Speed
  • 30% movement speed bonus. Gotta go fast!

Additionally, the Agnostic Playing Field buff will also boost players to 200 DPS, 200 Haste, and 100 Multi-Attack Chance if they are below those values.

Items and Equipment

  • Boss encounters now have a chance to drop Ancient Spells.
  • Weapons will drop 70% less often.

Charasis: Maiden’s Chamber [Agnostic]

  • Impaler Tzilug’s poison-based attacks no longer have a damage over time component.
  • Players will have 100% their mana replenished when killing each of Drusella’s handmaidens.
  • Drusella Sathir’s Skulling will no longer inflict Exploding Head on termination.
  • Drusella Sathir now speaks Common, so as to provide additional warning about her evil plans as all villains are wont to do.

Library of Erudin [Agnostic]

  • Shahrivar the Unquenchable has realized the plight of his name and will no longer drain power in a hopeless quest to sate the insatiable.
  • The Primarchs have converted their library of murderous tomes to ebooks, rendering them unavailable to summon if the final encounter goes on for too long.

Najena’s Deep Forge [Agnostic]

  • Doomsmith’s Armor Drain no longer debuffs physical mitigation, and also no longer deals damage over time.
  • Firelord Kaern will no longer port players into the lava pool.

Temple of the Faceless [Agnostic]

  • D’iar Ew blood ritualists will no longer cast Ritualistic Ire.
  • Fear trackers will no longer cast Tracking Poison; spiders are scary enough as is.
  • Only three wraiths must be killed to spawn the penultimate boss, Kilkilarus (down from seven).
  • Baroddas’ Concussive Shout will no longer drain mana.

Vasty Deep: The Conservatory [Agnostic]

  • Custodians and Scrubbers will no longer use Scrub.
  • Brappalec’s Tumble will no longer drain power.
  • Bilkozan the Hungry’s Rain of Flesh will no longer stifle players, but it’s still recommended that you do not open your mouth during the downpour.
  • The damage of Bilkozan the Hungry’s Misted Saliva has been toned down, and no longer has a damage over time or interrupt component.
  • The humane society got in touch with Riyadh about his use of topiaric rippers to delay his inevitable death. He has compromised, and will only summon two waves of adds (down from four).
  • Riyadh’s Rain of Leaves will no longer dispel beneficial player effects.
  • Players will have 25% of their mana replenished when killing a topiaric ripper summoned byRiyadh.

POPULATION / ZONE PROGRESSION
Ossuary: Cathedral of Bones [Raid]

  • During the Sacrificer Aevila D’Serin encounter Sanguine Splash should be removed when entering the pools instead of having to swim to the center of the pool.
  • Slightly increased the amount of time allowed to defeat the adds in the Primordial Ritualist Villandre V’Zher encounter.
  • Slightly decreased the damage of Touch of Malice.

ITEMS

  • Xiocite Mace of the Windjammer is now correctly named [eq2u]Xiocite Club of the Windjammer[/eq2u].
  • Altar of Malice – Final Collection Reward – [eq2u]Mithril Ring of Amplified Power[/eq2u] has had some stats added to make it more viable for other classes.
  • Fossilized Stud of the Primal Lich is now the [eq2u]Fossilized Ring of the Primal Lich[/eq2u], since it goes on your finger. The icon has also changed.

TRADESKILLS

  • The Journeyman and Expert Recipe for Bria’s Inspiring Ballad VIII are now listed under the correct version number.
  • The recipe for Painful Lamentations II (Grandmaster) now accepts Painful Lamentations II (Master) as a component.

QUESTS

  • Jerben Sleepwell within The Mermaid’s Lure in Qeynos Province District will now request your assistance when you approach him if you haven’t completed his quest, Batwing Crunchies for Jerben.
  • The Ossuary: Choir of Malice is no longer required for any of the weekly missions due to difficulty of the zone to complete.
