I have not logged into the game for nearly a month now. Nothing in this patch gives me reason to log in either. As the game is no longer fun for me I guess it is time to cancel subs and do other things.

BTW I still think EQ2 is the best MMORPG out there at the moment it is just that my subjective feel is it is no longer fun enough. I hope everyone else continues to enjoy the game. Bye for now.

Currently my friends and I are absolutely *loving* the game and are eagerly awaiting those juicy agnostic dungeon updates.

Why did it take this long to make the Sagittus Solis ammo heat damage? People have been begging for that change since that bow started dropping and rangers were left nearly useless on one of the Maw encounters.

The other big gripe I have is why hasn’t itemization been addressed? There are a whopping total of 4 (FOUR) fabled 4 second pierce scout weapons and each one is copy paste with reuse and recovery stats…. There isn’t a single fabled 4 sec pierce scout weapon in this expansion but there are about 3 pages of club (crushing) weapons…

I just don’t get it. If I were a developer and in charge of itemization I would not copy and paste stats or re use graphics over and over. It’s made me sad.

To clarify the above – The 4 fabled 4 sec pierce weapons are raid acquired. There are zero from heroic content at the moment.

If I were a developer and in charge of itemization..

That would make you the only dev in charge of itemization since I don’t think their lootbot 5000 counts as a dev.

It is kind of sad…..you’d think they’d want to at least pretend to have some pride in their product. Two months plus after the launch of AoM, and weapons options are almost non-existent for some classes, and this patch today is finally putting in more grandmasters. It’s just amazing…if my bank behaved like this, I’d be at a new bank.

I wish they’d fix the GPU Shadow problem. I really do.

Yeah! They changed the goblins…..and at least currently have removed in-game channels and friends lists!

Sure, because dirges need a bigger leg up on dps over troubs…that extra 25% flurry they get isn’t enough…so let’s ratchet up COB and ignore POTM…honestly…is there any other class that got screwed more in this expac? And it just keeps on screwing us more…

Well it started out with a very useful interrupt that was since taken away 🙁

From what I understand from my friend; he told me that the new version of CoB that he received while levelling up had exactly the same damage, duration, etc. as the previous version of the spell. So rather than just upgrading the damage because of power creep, I think it’s just a bugfix for that version of CoB since there was no reason to upgrade over the previous tier.

This has to be one of the most jaw dropping clueless comments posted in a while. Pride in eq2 is the only thing keeping some folks around since DG started ignoring everything but his new micro-voxel filled spawn.
    Pull your head out, mate.
