A Deity Revamp Hath Been Foretold
Continuing the Windslasher News Network reports… 😉
I’m pleased to report that a deities revamp is, in fact, on the schedule. I can’t make any promises on when it will happen, though, because it’s not up to me.
I can tell you that the [deity] pet stats are likely to be fixed before the full revamp, though. So expect a change Soon™.

I hope they ll not forgot to adjust the cloak, and to be sure every class archetype have access to the right stats…
Actualy be a good warrior not allow to get STR only pet.

Deity revamp? What about a complete DoV revamp? The latest expansion has ruined the game. There’s nothing to do after getting geared up in a couple PQ’s. No special gear to be found in any of the instances, that’s why you won’t see any instance runs in-game these days. There’s nothing to be gained from doing them.
Is DoV in fact the final nail in the coffin? I think so, and I’ve been here since the start, thru good and bad things, but this really seems to be the last straw.
Not having anything to strive for leaves a foul taste in my mouth. There simply isn’t any gear worth having. No point in raiding to get a certain item drop, because there are none. I’m *this* close to calling it quits, and like I said, I’ve been here thru good and bad times, but DoV is horrid.
Flying mounts? Cool, but does nothing for lasting power.

I agree about the DoV revamp. The mobs and equipment need to be on par with TSF since they are the same level range. That way those of us who earned our fabled raid gear last year don’t feel like a 1 shot dead weakling on every fight in the new raid zones (of the same level).
As for the deity revamp it is time for that yes. Tunare just doesn’t offer much for me anymore. The only reason i still use that deity is for RP.

I agree too about revamp, the simplification was as expected a really really bad idea
And after lived, tasted it. That lead me to one conclusion:
The balance for heroic zone is worth than befor.
For casual it’s Too hard, and for regular player it’s too easy. No balance.
Tips : it’s also due to remove cap…
The itemization is half of the problem, a big one, lot of mistake, lot of change without rebalance thing.
The stats consolidation is the second half of the problem, huge too.
Anyway deity pet revamp is something i wait since SF launch so, it’s a good thing in a malstrom of bad thing 😉

Have you played the instances other than ToFS? I found the Legendary gear dropping in Pools and The Ascent upgrading the nicest PQ armor. I do think that the ToFS zones are way too long though.

I have to agree about ToFS–I keep saying, ‘There better be some d@#n good cheese at the end of this maze’, and I keep getting disappointed.
Grade so far on this expansion is C- to D. But given the irregularities surrounding Beta and release, that’s about what I expected.
SOE, I am so disappoint 🙁

Pool and ascent and fortress spire gear is downgrad compared to PQ gear. With very few exeption like forearm tank.
Even when stats are close, the PQ with the bonus set is better.
Only jewels, range, secondary are nice from Dungeon ,)

I am looking forward to the Deity revamp. It’s been a long time coming and it might give me reason to take the time and switch Deity’s. As for DoV, I kind of like the expansion. The PQ gear works fine for me. I am not a raider but me and my guild constantly run FP, Ascent, and occasionally the Iceshard Keep (I think it’s called). Gear drops are not really better than the PQ gear but the occasional fabled jewelry up grades and weapon upgrades are knid of nice :). This expansion really seems geared towards faction, and some of the faction stuff you can buy isn’t too bad.
My only complaint about DoV is that it is kind of small. I think there should be more.
