With the powerful buffs and bonuses of our Mythical/Fabled Epic Weapons safely squirreled away to a separate permanent spell (thanks to the Epic Repercussions quest), we’ve been able to divert our attention towards finding other, better weapons.
While the choices are not plentiful (even with their buffs stripped, our Mythical weapons still have some formidable stats), the Sentinel’s Fate expansion is nonetheless supposed to offer us a variety of replacements for our now Enervated Weapons.
Thus far, there have been a scant few upgrade choices for healers. Fortunately Kander has responded to these concerns:
There will be some new 1 handed and 2 handed healer weapons with GU 56. In both heroic and epic content.
Amazing, a weapon 2 expansions old still holds it own.
My Inq is still looking for replacement, since I saw the post on the EQ2 forums I knew it just wasn’t there. There are some nice 2 handers but for heroic content and off course raid I really like to use a shield for “shield ally” and survivability. And also, those 2 handers have waaay to long of a delay so the DPS in compared with my converted myth is quite the same, but due to the long delay, procs don’t proc as much as with the 4sec delay weapon…
I will second AlienShine’s comment. I play an Inquisitor myself, and I have yet to find a one hand weapon that is decent enough to replace the mythical weapon.
The Inq in my guild replaced hers with a two hander from Tox..but I’m still not sure how it measured up.
I’d like to see the return of some type of mythical item. Either through quest like the weapons, or rarity like the charms from Fallen Dynasty.
That’s ok, they’ll never replace the Ranger Mythical bow because they’ve said they will never do another 0m range bow.
dont you need at least 2-5m to use your range and melee ca’s
why would you want to stand on the mob anyway
