Why they don’t give 15 or 20 totens per account and don’t force the ppl to do the same one time, two times, ten times… with different characters? Is not enough boring the game yet?

The devs seem to forget that tanks won’t run a zone over and over if there is nothing in it for them once they get their coin. Tank shortage was a HUGE issue last summer…I suspect this summer will be no different….or maybe worse because the game direction has pretty much killed alts.

Worse, it’s only the Expert zones. Anyone not up to those is locked out.

The top end gets more, the rest get squat. Same old, same old.

Groups expect to be able to zip through a zone with a raid geared tank pulling whole rooms at a time. I quit playing my tank when that was the expectation. I might not be the only one. There’s also the need to know the zone like the back of your hand as a tank since you’re out front. If it’s your first time in a zone and you’re supposed to be leading everyone… A) good luck and b) have fun listening to the team bitch/insult you, assuming you don’t get booted while they LFG for the godly tank they were expecting. lol

Yah, I know, Filthy casual… but casuals pay most of the bills. /shrug

Would be nice if we had a solo or heroic contested zone that the coins can be obtained. Requiring expert zones can be troublesome. What will happen is a few people will set up their groups and run them daily but tanks/healers will be short for the majority of the people.

I’m a raider, and I’m here to tell you that even raiders are feeling the pain this XPAC! None of my alts is group worthy either. None have finished their second ascension, let alone getting the charm. None of them have their epic. My raid main still need the super familiar from the PG grindfest, his last PQ fragment to get his second epic spell up to ancient (3% more fervor 100% of the time! YUM!), and Now I’m grinding a Necro on the Fallengate server to earn him more rewards. My biggest problem is lack of time to do everything I need to do…for my raid main! The alt army is a foregone conclusion at this point.

DBG needs to put more mechanisms in place for if you earn something on your main, you can buy a token to get it for an alt. Either that, or put less grinding in the game. Hardly anybody in this game likes to play just one toon, and almost all don’t have the time to do all of this grinding for alts, so they whither away into toons that never get played. This game has become a second job to me this XPAC! Only my desire to have the best Coercer I possibly can keeps me logging in at this point. That and the fact that nothing else has come out that I want to play.

I’m hoping Pantheon will be worthy to play, and comes out soon. If so, I’m gone! Been playing since launch, but the grind this XPAc is unbearable!

A big by product of everything going on in the game lately is the scarcity of people on to form expert/regular heroic groups! I’ve been duing or trioing experts with raid guildies lately cause we can’t fill groups. It’s really sad! We would rather bring a full group and crush the zone quickly, but we have to go much slower and struggle, most times W/O a tank, if we want to run the zones!

I feel the other side of that, 275 res with all 3 PQ gear, Kunark/Thalumbra shield, and 2 ascension earrings, but look for an expert group and you get told you don’t have enough resolve. I just gave up.

I can see giving experts runs 3 coins, heroics 2, and adv solos 1, or something like that, but locking not raiders out of ethereals all together just makes me want to join the exodus. Thank Karana TinkerFest is coming up.

If the next xpac is another grind fest I’m out of here. Been playing since launch but simply can’t justify the endless grinding, time sinks and push to buy spell upgrades with real life money.

The log in daily to get your scrolls, and spend the exp to get your ascensions. It was a little much this time around if you wanted to stay relevant.

I would like to have the cloak for the Paladin rune (which I consider pretty good, but I’m happy with my TS cloak.

More reasons why I should never come back to this game. 😛

Yeah.I logged in today and found out…that there is nothing that anyone will do to help me. I can’t run experts because I’m at 230 resolve self buffed. No one will run groups to help me get the better gear. There isn’t enough leaveway to allow 1 person to tag along that doesn’t meet the resolve difficulty. So nothing I can do and I won’t be getting any of these items, which makes me weep. So it’s a giveaway. I’m working on my faction requirements for my epic right now. And frustrated beyond belief.

That being said, from watching LFG today tank shortage is the biggest issue it seems. Groups trying to form can’t since there aren’t enough tanks.

My biggest issue with this is the absolute laziness and lack of originality on DBG’s part. The only thing new here is the cloak. So they made five versions of one item..and wiped their hands, and are done. The Runes are just rehashes of last years cloaks. Nothing original, save for some fervor on a few of them.

No new Fabled zones. No new content. They are even using the old missions to reward the coins. They have done almost literally the bare minimum to code/prepare for this Ethereal event. This probably took one person at DBG an afternoon to code in.

Easy to see the lack of groups. Just look at the statistics of people who have completed the Expert Heroic zones. I know this does not include the 5-10% of characters that are opted out from Census…

We just learned today that the ethereal coin timer is different from the mission timers. Really?
