EQ2 Server Merges As Soon As “End of August”

Realizing that this is neither a promise or guarantee, Windstalker has given us a glimmer of detail about the much-needed Server Merges that will merge a number of lower-population Live PvE servers…

I think the intention is that cross-server is still coming in addition to these server merges – but won’t be ready for a couple of months or so yet.
Whether the cross-server will just be limited to dungeon finder or not though will be interesting to see.

I don’t think they will be a merge of just 2 servers, I believe we will go down to about 4 servers. Which is why its taking forever

With Stormhold being launched I have quit playing on AB, but they do need to merge the servers.

I don’t mind. It drives traffic here. 😉
But mostly I think Community and Marketing want to be involved in all important customer messaging, which can get complicated and time consuming. But Holly can drop a tweet on a weekend or from outside the office.

With Holly on TLE at the weekend asking about lag for EU players I bet Splitpaw is going to”merge” with at least one U.S. Server and then be located in the U.S. Making it a lot easier for cross server dungeon finder etc

Well nothing official on the forums, or facebook, only twitter. It will be interesting to find out who/where/when and what, the main 4 answers we ask.
