Want to run this so much, but for some reason between last week (running chronoportals) and today suddenly my client crashes every time on the splash screen (post launcher). Nothing changed on my machine, just a patch for EQ2 that noone else seems to have a problem with.

And there is pretty much no way to get any help from Daybreak now, so I’m stuck.

Miserable and very feeling very Unbristlebaney, and he’s my God of choice too. 🙁

1st thing to try is on the launch screen click the advanced tools button on the lower left side then select validate game assets. That will do a full scan of all the files.

If that doesn’t help try going into your everquest II folder and deleting the cache folder. Then try starting the game up again. A long shot that might help but it won’t hurt anything either.

I already tried the first suggestion, no joy.

Hadn’t thought about the cache – and lo, joy of joys, it works!!!!

TY so much – i knew one of the lovely people who frequent EQ2Wire would be able to help!

Feeling properly Bristlebaney now – all hail the God of Mischief!
