From the EQ2 Forums:

Check out the latest video featuring the Producers from EverQuest, EverQuest II, and Landmark talking about what happened during May and what’s coming up over summer!

Here are the bullet points for EQ2:

  • The EQ2 team are looking forward to this year’s expansion which will increase the level cap to 100.
  • In June, we want you to Gear Up and Level Up your characters.
    • All Access gets 25% Bonus XP, 25% off Heroic Characters (insta-level 85), four times the amount of Etyma currency from Tears of Veeshan missions, and 15% off the Tears of Veeshan expansion.
    • Free-to-Play gets double the amount of Etyma currency and 15% off the Tears of Veeshan expansion.
  • Also in June, Dressable NPCs. These house-placeable NPCs will allow decorators to choose from a variety of races and dress these characters how you want to. You’ll also be able to choose from different animations.
  • Also this month, Fabled Deathtoll x4 Raid based off the Deathtoll zone in Kingdom of Sky. As we saw in today’s EQ2 Insider webcast, the new Deathtoll encounters have been retooled and some new animations have been created as well.

Disappointing. In previous videos they suggested Deathtoll would be available as something other than a raid zone. Guess not! Non-raiders don’t have much to look forward to the next 5 months I guess.

So I have a question. In the producer’s letter it said there’d be “100 new Loyalty items for All Access members.” Has anyone checked the MP or the merchant to see if those items were indeed added, and if they were /just/ for All Access? I understand if the majority of them are, but are there still just a few for those who are FTP?

Yes we’ve checked. No, they’re not just for All Access. And they’re pretty much all just adornments.

Thanks, Feldon! I’m sure some of the adornments are useful, but from your tone of voice they sound lacking.

I for one have no use for adornments, but whatever.

They’re halfway between Greater and Superior crafted adornments.

A thought about the Dressable NPCs. I have been sending feed back to SoE for 2 (TWO) years asking them to PLEASE MAKE THE GUILD HALL HIRELINGS EVEN MORE CUSTOMIZABLE!! This would give Guild Leaders and decorators the ability to customize the facial features (eyes, eye color, nose, ears, mouth, wode, piercings) and hair style, hair color, skin color, body size as well as wings for Fae. I truly think that the ability to make our guild hall hirelings look the way we would like them to look would add a further presonal, unique look to a guild hall. I hope they see this and would please consider this. Thank you

I just want NPCs that can actually sit.
