i wonder what the money has been increased to ?

I like the basic idea that solo is the easiest, then its advanced solo, then heroic, then raid. Each progression should be harder, but with better rewards – which includes money

so I would prefer that solo gives less money than heroic, and raid gives the best money.

Yeah that 27 gold per named in SG solo was pretty lame

When you hit drinal and get 8 plat in the chest yes that is bad that was 4 gold 64 silver per person. Fitspizle however had 101 plat but still divided by 24 yes not much there either.

The opportunity for casuals to make money is obscene now! Using an old account with an under geared Illusionist, doing normal quests at a decent speed, maybe one every 10 minutes, is bringing in a lot of plat. I need to consciously remind myself after handing in a few quests that I must bank! (Pvp)

Aaron – that’s how I made my plat, my alts. I have six L95, a L91, a L82, a L43, and am considering a few more to start. They make a lot of plat selling collectibles as I find them while questing. Then there’s what a crafter can make with their crafting lines, the current one being 42p and change when done. I have eleven crafters, that’s a potential 462p alone. There is money out there to be had even before all these changes. But I am very glad that coin is back in raid zones. 🙂

Protector’s Realm and Shard of Hate were like a drug, and SOE needed to help us kick the habit.

so how much coin we get now from advance solo?

How about they actually fix issues with the game – ie, HE: Heroic Fitzpitzle and SG: Alluring instead of worrying about plat.

I’m happy to give SOE some credit on this. They listened to the players and made a positive adjustment. I don’t know how much of an adjustment it is, but the fact that they did it is legitimate positive progress and as someone who has been a very harsh critic, I’m happy to give them credit here.

Why aren’t the CoE heroic named mobs not dropping loot?

They nerfed it all, Korsha, VP, Munzok, SF raid solo-able content.

Just ran Dreadcutter’s AS. Got 75 gold in each named chest, and 1p 91g in the final ornate chest. So a total of 4p 16g, plus vendor fodder drops. Reasonable return for 6 minutes of work IMO.

Until the prices on the broker come down, we’re all gonna feel the SoE sequestration.

Wow, 4p for advanced solo. I believe I had suggested a range of 4-6p for advanced solos and 20-25 for heroics. Glad I could help :p (kidding)

Just ran advance solo got 75g for each name and the last named in the zone droped 1 plat 25 gold. So that was 4 plat 25 gold and a 10 gold in one of the breakables so 4 plat 35 gold for a zone, not bad and that makes me happy for the most part. Now if they just fix the coin purses in the raid zones so that drinal will not drop 8 plat for the entire raid. I think they just need some more tweaking.

Picked up the Solo missions in CS, ran both solos. Netted about 16p plus some obols and blue coins. Muted the loot so woulda been a bit more if i had vendored it. Took about an hour to run (got Sense of Urgency on both).

It almost seems like somebody filled in the wrong field for Drinal. Maybe it was supposed to be 8p per person instead of 8p for the whole raid. A lot can change when you fill in the wrong field.

I shouldn’t brag where I get my money, but I’m still getting a constant 24 plat in certain zones per chest 😉

oh I must have missed that the CURRENT raid zones had their plat increased to go along with the solo and group increases.

    What… they didn’t?

I love how much sony values their current raiding content with fantastically superior gear and coin rewards. Its is sooooo worth the effort over soloing, but I guess since raiding can be done so much faster with less effort than everything else it only makes sense.

Perhaps raiders should have bitched and whined as much as the others always do. /shrug

Of course you can clear advanced solo zones about 30 times instead of pr once. So in the end it’s not a problem at all.

The key mob in Nu’roga is no longer spawning. No more 24p every 1.5 hours.

When they focused on new content as justification for PR nerf they set themselves up for this.

players dont NEED adv solo zones to drop plat, but the pr nerf was sold as a shift to current content. they made players expectations for current content plat drops rise considerably. 27gp was an idiotic move, or a artful troll.

    @Bravo

TSO dungeons that scale such as Najena’s and Mirigul’s still drop plat per 7p+ not to mention that miragul’s And Guk’s drop rate per mob is really high. With or without plat chest, you’re still making more money in those zones then you would in an advanced solo instance.

Enough about the plat! What about No Zone items?

The norm is to get item drops in instances that help us. In SkyShrine, and in CoE, there are drops that assist you such as Fragment of Gravitational Potential or Celestial Fragment of Subversion. You can save these items up for when you need them. The damage mobs, heal you, restore power etc.

But now, in Siren’s Grotto, you lose these items when you camp. Why? I was halfway through the instance, painstakingly saving up the frog guts and the coral etc, but had to log due to RL. Now I log back in and they are all gone.

    Why?

@Bleh I’ve had the exact same situation happen. I was very confused when I logged back in and all my SG aid-items had vanished. Very poor.

well as far as the aid items I love that they are clickies throughout the zone make the immersion and depth of content feel better rather than a bauble in every dang chest. so other than the temporary part of it I really like that they are not popping in chests anymore.
