Triple StationCash One Day Sale – April 28, 2012
I received an e-mail from SOE at 12:15am PST this morning notifying players that today is a Triple StationCash day. SOE really has this providing as little advance notice as possible thing down to a science. You can also read this late-day announcement at EverQuest2.com.
We’re going to assume, since it was not said otherwise, that this applies to all StationCash purchased in-game, at SOE.com, or with game cards in Europe, the USA, and now in Canada. Remember, Wal-Mart bonus cards are 1500SC plus 500SC which triples to 6000SC. Not bad for $15. You can get a year’s EQ2 subscription for $30 this way.
*Valid from 12:00AM PDT 4/28/2012 through 12:00AM PDT 4/29/2012. Excludes purchases of SC made by SMS.

Hi all. I was wondering if someone could enlighten me on paying subscription with SC as I have some amount that I never used.
How is it possible to pay with SC for game?
What kind of membership do I get if i do that (gold, silver)?
Are there any restrictions?

Just go into the game, go into StationCash Marketplace, and go to Subscriptions. If you buy StationCash today at triple value, you can buy one year’s EQ2 Gold/full subscription for $40. If you get the Wal-Mart 1500SC+500SC cards, you can get a year’s EQ2 subscription for $30.
If you want to do a server transfer, you may have to pay a full month of EQ2 subscription. Also you don’t get 500SC free per month.

@Aarionn – You can purchase gold subscriptions for about what the subscription cost is in SC. So $14.95 one month subscription is about 1495 SC, etc. Keep in mind, these are considered non-reoccuring subscriptions and do not get the 500sc stipend each month, nor do they have access to character transfer tokens.

I just bought 15K SC for 50$ as there is no WalMart near Germany 🙂
But… I applied 1 year gold for Eq1 instead of Eq2…
I petitioned it. Hope for the best….

Well, there was, but Walmart management insisting on American policies and workplace ethics and refusing to adapt to customer expectations caused them to fail. 😉

Well I cancelled my account almost 5 months ago when P7 deal was announced to put the pressure on soe. I can wait few more days to play.

SMS or Simple Messaging Service is a text message. You can buy things in Europe and Asia by sending a text to a number like *4321.

Thank you SoE for once again screwing over Europe by leaving out SMS payments from the x3 sales.
But, oh – wait – this time i am not interested in buying anyway since i realised that i could just buy unlockers instead with my remaining SC instead of paying for a gold subscription every month. And also not buying any new houses or other items from the marketplace.
This pretty much means that i won’t be sending any payment whatsoever to SoE – Hope you enjoy your lost revenue!

Just to post, that customer support solved my problem on Monday and refunded SC to my account, so I could purchase 1 year of EQ2 gold.
