Hail and well met, fellow gamers! My name is Jennifer “Isulith” Bridges and I’m the newest addition to the SOE Community Team. I have to say, it’s truly an honor to be here.
You’ll be seeing me a lot over the next four months, as I’ll be helping the team out while your beloved Amnerys is having fun with her babies. I will be on the forums, Facebook, Twitter, etc. to provide you with the latest news and updates relevant to the amazing EverQuest II universe. Commentary
Jennifer certainly has her work cut out for her on the EQ2 forums. In the past few months, trolls and troublemakers have gained a foothold. Instead of directly addressing the problem of these disruptive players by giving them a vacation from the forums, SOE staff have been twiddling with the Forum Word Censor, blocking such “offensive” words as:
- feedback (later rescinded)
- sucks
- blows
- hell
- wth
- crap
- gd
and so on. Censoring minor insults doesn’t stop forum trolls, as they will just find different words or **** our their own epithets.

I don’t know why they want to censor words when they should be giving vacation time to the disruptive trolls. Oh well if they would take the time to give those disruptive troll a vacation it would bring order back to the forums, and folks would clue up.
Community manager is always a very tough job, and they always seem to hire some very sweet looking young ladies to do it. Bet this is the longest four months of Jennifer’s life!

Pfft. Forum bans are a mark of honor over at Flames. (And what the Community types for SOE consider ‘trolling’ can be considered ‘pointed, pertinent questions’ in most sane forums…)
I wonder if she knows where Europe is and how to post about delays. Either ability will be an improvement over the lat CR Manager
Our beloved Amnerys? lol. I’m pretty sure a robot could have done a better job. Hopefully things will get better.
