New Class Will Not Be On StationCash Marketplace

Written by Feldon on . Posted in Expansion News

From SmokeJumper on the EQ2 Forums:

I rarely, and I mean once-every-few-years, make slips when talking to the press. But I had done tons of internal presentations about it and it slipped in the heat of conversation with the journo.

But that being said, we’re not going to reveal anything else until Fan Faire where it will get its great unveiling, as planned.

However, I will say this one thing to squash the rumor. This is not introducing a “Marketplace Class” and this new class will not be sold for SC.

That’s it. That’s really all I’m going to post about this until Fan Faire. No more responses on this subject. Sorry, folks.

If its not Beastlords, they better have a good escape plan, because they will have a huge player riot on their hands! 🙂

Nice for him to say that since he really didnt have to, he could have just let all the doom and gloomers cry until FF (yes this means you Lathain LOL)Beastlords will be a huge success if thats what it is, even if they are only a shadow of their former EQ1 glory.

I am glad he actually stood up on this one and said something. I still think there are to many redundant classes that could be combined, but heck, guess this will mean a lot of peeps buy an extra char slot.

Or buy station access as it gives you I think two extra. Though kind of a shame you can’t get the prepaid bonuses with station access.

i will not have my class reduced to 2 nd rate as will many others if you put in a too good of a new class . and if it does something better in raids than a class already used then that class will become not needed .watch out soe with all the problems in the game right now do you really wonna risk ticking more players off .
