SOE Update: Your Characters/Items are Safe, Still no ETA

Hey folks, in response to many inquiries, we wanted to reassure you that all of your characters and items are safe and awaiting your return. We continue to work on the issues as fast as we can, but unfortunately the servers will not come up today. Thank you for your continued patience; we expect to be back up very soon.

The longer they wait to bring up the servers, the more people they lose to other mmo s.

Time is money, SOE has to know the longer you are down the more money, and customers you loose.

I think it’s out of their hands right now. I mean seriously they’ve called in the FBI to help investigate. I don’t think they have much of a say at the moment of when things come back up. Hopefully it will be Friday (That was my vote in the poll)

They will loose me for sure in nov when Guild Wars 2 comes out, looks like rift but better! they will have no monthly sub either you just buy the game and play…the way it should be! soe has gotten to much of my money for almost 7 years in a row, and this was just the icing on the cake to make me quit.
Instead of updating their security over time they just stayed cheap and let it go until our info was stolen, tells you right there that they dont respect us at all! all the money they have made on just the subscriptions and they cant enhance security? plus all the money they make off the expansions… if you ask me they are a greedy company that i hope dies off cheers soe you guys have screwed yourself.
