Shirts, Sweatshirts Stock Station Store

Written by Feldon on . Posted in Daybreak Live (SOE Live/Fan Faire)

From EverQuest2.com:

The Station Store has been stocked with the great T-shirts, Sweatshirts, and Hoodies from Fan Faire. Alas, the Hooded Sweatshirts are only available in 3XL, but other items are available in a range of sizes. If you’ve been looking for a good EQ2 shirt, check out the Station Store.

More $$$ for Sony! Seriously, they need to stop all of this cash grabbing and focus on putting out a good product!

when was the last time a hooded sweatshirt made you buy something?

In order to get people to wear things like this in public, purchasers have to enjoy the product they are endorsing. The quality of the product advertised should come first, and all merchandise sales and its corresponding “street advertisement” will likely follow. How is that not a “grown-up” concept? I think EQ2 is WAY past a t-shirt and hoodie marketing campaign… but hey, what do I know?

I’d love to buy some EQ2 tees but there’s nothing there for girls 🙁 What about some EQ2 bikinis for the female Aussie gamers? That might make a few more guys buy a copy lol.

Eons ago SOE had clothes and things in their store for Everquest.

It really is a stretch to complain that this is “cash grabbing”.

I never want to hear people who are complaining about this complain that SOE doesn’t advertise EQ2.

IF you’re so angry about everything that SOE does that a few Sweatshirts make your blood boil, maybe it’s time to switch gaming companies.

Obviously an evil ploy to get people to voluntarily part with their money for goods they want to buy.

For anyone enjoying their moan here : I log on, play and really enjoy EQ2, personally I think if you don’t enjoy it then perhaps that’s your problem and you just need to get over it.

And its nice to see the goods appearing here, I wish there were those Planetside mugs too, I’m kind of kicking myself for not picking up a couple more at the Fanfaire.

Feldon – I have. Sub ran out on the 28th… someone can have my stuff.

I guess I just can’t take SoE anymore… been burned far too many times. Fool me twice, shame on me…

For what it’s worth, your site here has been extremely informative and helpful over the years. Thanks for that!

I want to thank Feldon for this site as well. The main reason i’m excited for Rift is that it isn’t SOE operated. I actually got a little excited about EQ2 after listening to the latest webcast but the fact remains its SOE so my urge to log in quickly passed. All one needs to do is read up a little about Rift, look at how well they communicate and treat the players and you know we’re all in for an excellent ride.

I don’t care if EQ2 sells merchandise, the main reason I’m posting is to thank Feldon for the good time i had reading and posting here.

All the best, and take care.

Same, account expires today. Can’t take $OE anymore. Seems the only way to vote is with my money. I feel like Trion wants my business and me as a player. they want to make sure I’m having fun and want me to continue playing, SOE just wants me to buy more stuff. I mean, even if it is a copy of a bunch of games out there, it’s a better copy. More of the same for the same price as something better doesn’t cut it anymore.

It’s not so much SOE bashing for me. We all know how great and wonderful EverQuest II is. It’s the really hot chick that noone seems to know about.

I just want to see some TV advertisement for EQ2…or, if anything, please market EQNext when it comes out.

    @Blockhead,
I too am excited for Rift, but I will say that SOE’s customer support (at least in my personal experience) is far greater than Trion’s so far. I keep asking Trion something in support questions regarding the preorder, and they continue to copy and paste messages to me.

Maybe I’m the only one, just was a sidenote regarding Trion’s CSR quality.

Whats worse than a piece of clothing with a big honkin logo on it? One with an Everquest logo! Regardless if you think these are cool or not, they’re going to be made with the cheapest materials and child labor money can buy. So wear it once and prepare for it never to fit right again.

You probably only get half the hoodie, then they send you the rest in pieces over the next year.

I bought 2 hoodies and 2 t-shirts at Fan Faire last year. Year before that I got 2 snuggies. I was actually happy with the relative quality.

Oh, and RiftWire will be launching very soon now.

OK back, i had to do a little celebration dance. I guess you can have your cake and eat it too sometimes. Rift with the best coverage via Riftwire. Legendary.

I was done posting here, i love your work, i love your site, but unfortunately it kept me around SOE. A little birdie told me you dropped the good word so i just had to post here one last time.

I’ve started to focus on Rift Lore lately, much debate on the lore atm but i for one love it.

Well this is will most likely be my last post here, hope EQ2 is good to you all, and hopefully run into you all at Riftwire someday.

    Thanks Feldon.
