Update Notes for 15 September 2010
Here are your update notes for 15 September 2010:
GENERAL
- Fixed a bug causing some zones to not be available for zoning.
- Fixed a bug were Experts and Masters of the previous tier could be automatically overwritten in your hotbar by an Apprentice spell.
TRAVEL
- The Stonebrunt temporal pathfinder will now properly zone you into Sundered Frontier instead of leaving you high and dry in the middle of the sky.
ITEMS
Ykeshan Spellbears and Warbears can be used below level 80 and no longer can be combined below level 80.

Alright so this update started a few days ago and I’ve let it run its course but its still not finished..no matter how long I wait. The 10 gig update took probably around 10 hours to complete, if that..so about all day. The client is still needing updates which I allow and then the last one just says it is downloading, I left it alone for about an hour and still nothing, no progress at all. I am bamboozled to say the least, so annoyed that I’m getting ready to cancel my account. 😛 Apparently no one else is having this problem, so I have no clue what to do. I am not an admin, could it be that is the issue? Does this client need admin access?

@Kristin: It sounds like your install path changed so it re-downloaded the entire game. The patch was only a few meg. I’ve seen that happen to others but never heard anyone describe why it happens. The game just decides to install into a different directory one day and the massive download begins.
As for admin rights, I’d definately try right clicking your icon and choosing Run as Admin. I’ve had that fix things in the past.

What’s this about combining the Ykeshan warbear and spellbear?

if you were below lvl 80 crafting and adventure you could cast the Shard bears and gain the hp/power buffs, since the mount factor required lvl 80 you could put on all 6 bears (3spell/3war because different colors) if you had all six your would get +/- 9% hate based on class, 9% ability reuse and 750 hp/power, mainly good for low lvl Battlegrounds since 750 is a crap ton of power and hp for a lvl 30ish toon
