November Winback Program

A seemingly random selection of  people who have not played or subscribed to EverQuest II in a while are noticing a “Nov15 Winback” entry on their accounts and the granting of 14 days of All Access membership, without receiving an e-mail informing them of this Winback Promotion. Others received the e-mail but have not noticed All Access having been turned on for their accounts. Another hush hush marketing promotion.

May the odds be ever in your favor.

Well I only play Landmark at the moment, yes 14 days of all access to EQ2 is nice but I do not have the ToT expansion so I cant level. Interesting marketing idea, or something.

how about the people they have chased off with the guild name debackle.many of the guild names they stripped from active guilds are not even listed here now.do you really think 14 free days will get back people who you have taken their ingame identity away from will bring them back???/

The lack of communication on this leads to some interesting confusion. I’ve seen some players in Planetside 2 wondering why they’re suddenly subscribed. Doesn’t even occur to them that it has something to do with that EverQuest game they haven’t touched in years.

I recently returned after a year or so absence and have not received any promo. I am just silver while I get my bearings again, but I’ll probably sub.

I claimed my 12 year token reward because they just increased the plat amount. Not unless I sub though, so really not much use for them. Any decent rewards can only be claimed by subs….pretty tricky of them.

I can’t tell if they have one guy doing marketing, or if marketing regularly gets it’s hands tied by someone else above them, but you would think that pretty much any other game/job/anything that the people responsible had this low of a success rate would be fired within days.

I got the email x3, I’d assume for the kids’ accounts since they don’t have subs. It states that the free time only lasts until 11:59pm PT on December 1st, which is 7 days, not the 14 that others were seeing.
