We’ve got Bonus XP weekends coming for #eq2 and #everquest starting tomorrow 12pm PDT until Monday 9am PDT. (AA, TS, Adv XP in EQ2.)
Official update from the EQ2 Forums:
If you have some free time this weekend, take advantage of it with bonus experience!
Starting at 12:01PM PDT* on Friday, April 3, and running until 9:00AM PDT on Monday, April 6, 2015 All Access members will earn double AA, Adventure and Tradeskill experience!

I am sure that there are people who will use this time so that’s good. But I have a feeling that even if I log in on Sat it won’t hold my attention. I remember the days when I would have cancelled our Easter plans if I found out it was going to be a double xp weekend. Sigh.

It used to be worth it. Honestly, I can see how that would be hard to imagine. I would have no issue after a hard week of work staying up to 3am to raid with a guild whose players were at least three hours behind me.

Hahah we used to do it too! We used to skip every other year, and then visit BOTH families on alternating years. Debated it this year but now we’re old and responsible for things like feeding people. Its weekends like this that are great for topping off all the 95s you’ve neglected since the level cap.

Wish it applied to quest XP and not just combat XP. Upper end combat XP is so abysmal even at double or quintuple it isn’t worth it.

My partner and I have lives. We also have toons we like that are between 95 and 100. Hell, yes, we’re playing this weekend… because it’s fun…
…and we can.
Next year? Who knows? Just sayin’.
