The Norrathian Chronicles Launches with Erollisi Day!
I’m proud to announce that a fellow player who I have twice met at SOE Live and then had the fortune of spending New Year’s Eve with is embarking on a new adventure in broadcasting with his own EverQuest II-themed weekly show! Oakmiser‘s new channel, which he calls The Norrathian Chronicles, will see 5-15 minute videos covering news, live events, content updates, and tutorials for in-game topics that tend to trip players up.
Oakmiser, who shares the home server of Butcherblock with me and Dethdlr, has been getting advise from myself and Chuina, creator and former co-host of the popular EQN/Landmark show EverCast, and yesterday he posted his first video covering Erollisi Day:
He’s already listed a few of the subjects of his upcoming programs including: Experimenting Guide, Altar of Malice Review, Timed Mission Tutorials, Advanced Solo Tutorials, Housing Guide, and so much more! New Video(s) will post every Friday starting next Friday the 13th! He asks that those interested in his videos like, subscribe, and follow @NorrathianChron on Twitter, NorrathianChronicles on Facebook, and his Youtube channel.

Yep nice to see someone giving EQ2 some Youtube coverage.
I’m hoping someone will put together some kind of regular EQ2 themed podcast-y type thing on Twitch using Skype for some EQ2 related discussion, shenanigans and tomfoolery. There seems to be plenty of these for the likes of Landmark / EQN / H1Z1 etc., I would definitely tune into something like that for EQ2.
Would be nice to see EQ2 Insider come back too, even if its only semi-regular, monthly perhaps.

Thanks for the positive feedback! Awesome seeing so much of the community be supportive! I’ve already learned a ton from the responces and just tinkering around with the programs I use to produce the videos. If you have any suggestions or ideas PLEASE don’t be afraid to comment!

If you go with Butcherblockheads then you can wear big hats made from chunks of laminated wood! It works for the cheese heads. ☺

Butcherblockheads fits nicely with Oak! Nicely done Oak, I have to tell you I’m really interested in the experimenting video. As a guildie of Oaks I can’t begin to tell you how knowledgeable about the game he is, plus he puts up with my color blindness when I can’t see those aoe circles on the floor and he screams into my headset MOVE! It’s usually too late by then!

Ha! Not a hothead. I just think it;’s funny that I can’t see the ring and you have to tell me every time to move, it’s usually to late for me though! Ok, maybe scream was a bit much, maybe more like “Lumi if you don’t move out of that circle you’re going to…nevermind.”

ROFL, yes thats why I switched to “Move!” because by the time I said all that it was exactly like you said “nevermind..” lol!
Whats stupid is that I heard at SoELive they were going to work on a fix to make those circles easier for colorblind people to see.
