Todays update borked the prestige lines. If you have 5 already in it it added up and then borked your prestige for far seas. What happened is 1 in goblen = 5 so if you have 5 in it thats 5×5=25 and added up to 44/25 in ts prestige.

Not only that but salvaging takes 5 counts in either gobie or tables so to keep salvaging you had to respect to 1 in goblen and 4 in tables.

So then take that x15 alts, lol

to get salvaging you have to spend 3 points in either gathering goblin or crafting stations. But now even though it takes 5 points for the goblin it only counts as 1. So to get salvaging/refining you have to put another 3 points in crafting stations. Which is a total waste, just use portable stations if needed, of points that can be better spent somewhere else.

Also I put a thread in the sony forums support section saying the same thing I wrote here and they deleted it. I later saw someone else post about it in the forum and it got deleted too. I guess Sony doesn’t want people realizing they make changes without testing them first.

Considering the EQ2 logons were disrupted last Thursday (15th) with that stupid zombie game launch, I doubt anything is tested, before being released to the production servers.

. . . and if you call out the EQ2 devs for releasing broken and untested code, you get your comments deleted and forum logon banned for 5 days . . . just proves to me that a good number of the EQ2 forum moderators are a bad bunch of immature and irresponsible bozos, who don’t know what they are doing, or simply don’t care.

There have been previous tradeskill-related botch patching that took over 2 weeks to get fixed, so don’t hold your breath, folks.

I’m just glad my goblin doesn’t reset to 12 hours no matter what if I forget to un-summon him before zoning. That was reallllly annoying. It wasn’t a common bug either. Only one of my crafters had it, and I only knew 2 other people with the same problem. Before now, the only answer I got from customer service for the 5 points still resulting in 12 hour reuse timer was to make sure I de-summoned him before zoning/logging.
I wonder if the bug still affects the summoned crafting stations, or if those were fixed in the same patch?

“Tradable purple adornments may now be placed in adornment depots.”

They don’t drop into a White Adornment Depot. Is there another kind?

I just want to know why it mattered so much for them to change the dumb gathering goblin. sheese.

Because it was constantly bugging out for a lot of players due to the way the points lowered the recast time.

So… more leather armor for alts, less jewelry for everybody. Perfect! (sarcasm)
