So SOE really really really really really wants all of us to be on their e-mail distribution list. From the EQ2 Forums:

There’s a lot of excitement happening here at SOE. In addition to news and updates about our games, we want to make sure you have the chance to participate in some of the great promotions we have to offer!

This holiday season, one promotion is available through e-mails only. If you want to have the chance to participate, you need to make sure you’re “opted-in” (signed up to receive e-mails from Sony Online Entertainment)! In order to receive our holiday promotion e-mails, you must have this box checked on your account e-mail preferences by Wednesday, December 17, 2014.

To verify your e-mail address and check your opt-in status, just follow these easy steps:

That’s what happens when people start jumping ship, you have to figure out how to entice them back and you got to have the fishing line to do it.

Last email I got from them was about the thanksgiving thing I think and the event was over by the time the email came.

I remember when playing EQ1 we’d actually get emails when the servers were coming down and such. Now it’s like they simply don’t care about informing people, they sure don’t use their own forums or emails. And the concept of twatters or twattring is just retarded.

Scout GM recipes still not in, either. The patch today seemed very brief for all that they were trying to accomplish.
