Bristlebane Day Event Begins! — March 29th through April 11th
From the EQ2 Forums:
Jesters, thieves, bards and fans of mischief are invited to enjoy the adventuring and new crafting festivities that surround Bristlebane Day! You never know what riddles, laughs and pranks are to be found during this enjoyable time of year.
Celebrators are present in every home city, and the oddest of objects have been spotted in Antonica, The Commonlands, Darklight Wood, Timorous Deep, Greater Faydark and Frostfang Sea! Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for special events, especially in Enchanted Lands, occurring only on the Highest of Silly Days, April 1st, 2013!
New Features for 2013:
- New contest – “Bristlebane Bounce – Sinking Sands“
- New beasts – Beastlords have the chance of finding a rare creature in a multitude of overlands during the weekend (3/29 – 4/1), for their taming pleasure!
- New Tradeskill recipe book, “[eq2u]Perfectly Serious Items to Craft IV[/eq2u]”. The recipes require holiday harvestables gathered from “Jester’s gardens” and other low level harvestables as components.
- New holiday Acheivements: A Plethora of Pranks, Conniving Confections, You Jelly?, and Snack Attack

Anyone have any idea on where to look for the warders? My wee beastie flew all over Commonlands/Antonica and didn’t see anything. I’m gonna try Enchanted Lands later.

Over on the forums, one has been found in BB and another atop the Tower of Frozen Shadows.

Warder Spawns several set locations, most frequent seems to be crossroads pig pen, 1 1/2 hr respawn on Guk Server.

Theres a lvl 90 heroic ^^^ one inside nek castle walls. You have to either fly or leap over the walls in nek forest to get to it, though.

Just in case it’s not clear, anyone who wants a Meatbeast warder can get one in Nek Castle (you have to fly into the area from Nek Forest, NOT enter the actual castle instance) or you can in Shimmering Citadel if you are on a quest.
The rare one is pink.

The one in Nek Castle is an enchanted warder and can only be tamed with the tame exotic warder ability i.e. by players level 80 and higher.
The rare one is a bovid warder.

The one in Nek Castle is also level 90, so players below level 80 couldn’t get it even if it didn’t require exotic taming.
