With all the current issues the current xpac has and this is the best they felt like doing once they got back from break are you kidding me.

I considered this expac to be one of the least buggy. I must be hanging out in neighbourhoods with cleaner code. 🙂

Any idea when they are going to be fixing Teku? I mean i know todays update is far more important than fixing end game mobs….

Except for your autoattack, eh Striinger 😛

COE has had its share of bugs (many still pending), but consider how many of them they did fix post launch, (though many of those should have caught in their joke-of-a-beta-period), compare that to how many entirely new systems and mechanics they introduced. It could have been much worse.

Yes, the “fixes” listed above are paltry, remember that the more complex the bug, the harder it is to isolate and fix, then test that fix, then have qa verify the fix, then release. A simple bug can be squashed by an intern and blitzed to live, but something like Teku needs to be thoroughly tested before they throw something out.

Well, NPCs (if any) giving out these quests for ST Contested don’t exist in EW or ST Contested. Maybe they are drop quests.

Probably like it was in contested Kael Drakkel and Skyshrine. dropped quest starters and clickable objects in zone.

You mean like they did with the fix that changed his chest from a FFA loot to one that was infinitely respawnable?
That is a load of BS, but I’m sure the really appreciate that there are people like you that will defend whatever level of incompetence and contempt for the playerbase that they show. They don’t fix half the crap that is broken and reported to them anyway, there have been more than enough issues with COE to show that they will roll whatever the hell they want to out regardless of pleas from people that have tested and found serious bugs with it.

Getting that chest fixed and that mob back in the game should have been one of the highest priorities this week, and if the chest could not be fixed then the code for it should have been rolled back to where the chest was ignoring loot options until it could be fixed and tested properly.

Teku not being returned with Thursdays patch is almost inexcusable, the only excuse would be if they were fixing him to be like Trakanon so players that have killed all named in the zone can go directly to him.

Ummm sorry for the unrelated note but Feldon why the banner ads? Especially when they interrupt typing for a full page pop up….

    Bad Choice!

      Bad Choice!

Because EQ2Wire and EQ2U have been provided to the EQ2 community for 4 years and 1 year respectively FOR FREE with no ads despite significant operational costs. A few people have thankfully donated, but it’s not close to enough to break even.

Remember, EQ2Players used to cost $2.99 a month and had far less functionality than EQ2U.

The full page ad is supposed to only be an interstitial between pages. I’ve disabled the interstitial ads. I tried them out and the blaring video is unacceptable.

If Feldon can make some cash to support all of his efforts at keeping this site and the related tools running for the community then I’m all for it. I do agree the full page popup is annoying but hopefully that’s an option he can turn off.

People still get ads on the internet? I thought those things phased out years ago. I haven’t seen one in at least a couple years now. There are so many ad blockers out there, unless you are still using Internet Explorer for some silly reason, there is no reason you should ever see an ad.
