Visitors to the Thurgadin Docks will discover Coldain vendors selling armor, jewelry, and weapons, as well as both red and yellow adornments. For players who have been unlucky with acquiring gems from Kael Drakkel zones, Thurgadin offers armor which is not of the same quality as that of the Ry’Gorr Orcs, yet is still a substantial upgrade over Public Quest gear.

You no longer need Primal Velium Shards to get Thurgadin armor! Full sets Thurgadin armor may be crafted by any level 90 crafter with the recipes at a very minimal cost (only common harvestables are needed). Crafters also allow you to bypass the Thurgadin faction requirements to make you a “free” armor set. They do appreciate tips though!
Thurgadin armor may also be purchased directly from the vendor Rotuk on the Thurgadin Docks. You’ll need to gain Thurgadin faction by questing, running Public Quests for Cloudy Velium Jewels (2 per day per PQ so +2,000 faction), as well as helping Thurgadin by running Pools, Ascent, Fortress, and of course the Daily Solo Shard Mission. Once you have faction with Thurgadin, you’ll also be able to buy a few other pieces of jewelry, as well as their selection of Adornments (particularly +5% Critical Mitigation).
