June 14th 2011 Update Notes & 2 Hr Maintenance

The US servers will come down on June 14, 2011, at 7am PDT for a hotfix.  The expected downtime is 2 hours.

and:

Beginning a 7:00 AM PDT on Tuesday, June 14, 2011, subscription and commerce services will be unavailable for maintenance. We expect this maintenance to take approximately 2 hours.

This may also cause some forum accounts to temporarily lose permissions, due to the inability to verify account status while the maintenance is taking place. This is only temporary and normal permissions will return automatically once the maintenance is complete.

GENERAL

  • Fixed an issue preventing players from climbing certain climbable walls.
  • Fixed an issue with elevators taking incorrect paths.

POPULATION / ZONE PROGRESSION

  • Fixed a bug where merchants and bankers would show as broken or overmatched encounters.

Great Divide

  • Cliff striders and living glaciers in Storm Gorge are no longer quite so difficult to kill.
  • Halldor Brewbeard, Thurgadin Harbor’s Bartender, now recognizes the “Stein of the Alesmith” and “Stein of Recollection” allowing owners to now bind themselves at his bar.

Elddar Grove

  • Guard Kaladenth no longer attacks his fellow guardsman, Tolar.

Sullon’s Spire and Tallon’s Stronghold

  • Drunder normal mode x4 raid zones do not require players to have quite as much critical mitigation.
  • Tallon and Sullon Zek will now begin fighting when players hail them, rather than approach them (Normal and Challenge versions).

Temple of Rallos Zek Heroic

  • Damage on the Challenge mode Idols of Rallos Zek has been reduced to be more in line with the other encounters within the zone.

The Ruins of Guk

  • The Troll Idol in the Ruins of Guk is now movable.

Kael Drakkel

  • Praefectus Ptor’s adds will now despawn when he is defeated.
  • Marked as an Enemy now has 8 seconds to be cured and will now show up in the detrimental spell effects window.
  • Marked as an Enemy should now be cast much less by Kromzek who use it.
  • Dominus Gandrrig will now award AA experience to the group every time he is killed just like the other Kael Drakkel contested bosses.
  • Primis Arkend’s Annihilation should now be interruptible.
  • Legatus Skarl should now call out the person who is being pegged for slaughter.

Kraytoc’s Fortress of Rime and Temple of Rallos Zek: Foundations of Stone

  • Adds in the x4 raid challenge mode Kraytoc, and Supreme Imperium Valdemar encounter now have less health.

  • Frigid energy nodules in the Eireen the Broken fight now have less health.

Throne of Storms: Hall of Legends challenge mode

  • Curses should be more predictable and spaced further apart in the arch Magistor Modrfrost fight.  Kromzek Stormtroopers and strikemages now have less health in the Imperator Kolskeggr fight.
  • Imperator Kolskeggr will only spawn 2 strikemages per cycle.
  • During the King Tormax fight only one elemental energy storm should be present at any given time.
  • The interdimensional anchor that spawns during the Tormax fight now has a fixed location.

Tower of Tactics

  • Lord Kefzaanin should no longer stay invulnerable when failing the chrono-maiden trial.
  • Warmaster Deynka should KB less and her adds should have a lot less hit points. Her adds should also now despawn when she is defeated.
  • Lady V’uul should now have an alternate way to remove her invulnerable buff stacks.

Hold of Rime: The Ascent

  • The Achievements “Mauling Maulhammer” and of “Sense of Urgency: Mauling Maulhammer” should now update correctly.

The Chamber of Destiny

  • Fixed a bug where gullet devourers in the Behemoth encounter would look like broken encounters.

TRADESKILLS

  • The items that Livi in Eastern Wastes asks you to make have had their required progress adjusted.  The Gardener’s Rake, Gardener’s Shovel, Weakened Axe, and Wyrm Stunner now take less progress to create.

QUESTS

Public Quests

  • A bug that could prevent some active participants from getting rewards has been fixed.
  • Fixed an issue that caused encounters in the Storm Gorge to reset while fighting.

Heritage

  • The Snowchipper quest line has had the following changes:
  • Status will now be given out properly upon completion of the quest.
  • The quest now awards a house version of the Snowchipper.  If you have completed the quest, the mountable version of the weapon will be available from the Shady Swashbuckler.
  • The quest is now flagged as Heroic.
  • The heritage quest “In Honor and Service” now has a more accurate notation for finding the Crushbone Spy near Memorial Hill.

Sullon’s Spire

  • Springing the Smith: One “Insulated Gloves of the Boarsmith” will now drop for each member of the group on the quest.

The Emerald Halls: Wuoshi’s Fate

  • Anyone grouped with someone on the necessary step of the Heritage quest “Tangled Roots of Growth” can now accompany them into the zone.

Fortress of Drunder: Shard missions

  • Fixed a bug that was giving groups multiple quest updates per kill.

BATTLEGROUNDS

  • Fixed a bug where players could all stack up on the same spot when zoning to the Champion’s Respite from another server.

    So if you completed Snowchipper already you won’t be credited any status?
