More Mounts
From SmokeJumper regarding new mounts:
We have some really interesting kinds of mounts coming in the next couple of GUs that will become available to players at different levels throughout the game. Things will keep changing and we intend the fun factor of them to increase as well. But true fliers? They’re a level 86+ perk, and they’ll end up staying that way. (Consider it a lure to get to 90.
We are still hopeful that existing flying-type mounts will be usable as appearance flying mounts, such as carpets, clouds, and hover discs.

they say no mounts until 86 but it would be fun to level a new class with a flying mount, would make the leveling a bit more interesting.

Carpets, Clouds, and Tinkered Discs should be flying mounts.

Emmanuella: You could always level to 86 crafter first, get the flying mount, then start on adventure levels…

There was a thread about a week ago where people were asking for Pegasus mounts among other things. ttobey chimed in with this:
Take that for what you will, but to me, it sounded like they may be headed our way. 🙂

How about a Gryphon that is machine like and a tinkerer would be the one that makes it. Or maybe a pterodactyl or even a Sokokar but I do like the Pegasus idea!

way too much tinkering tools, dont forget tinkering tools are supposed to explode half of time… please stop with tinkering, we ll end in start wars world soon at this rate, we are in fantasy world not in high tech world…

I agree with Liftik, the things that appear to be flying objects should actually fly, since they added that to the game.
I imagine they will add a flying horse, since the game that should not be named has one as a mount.

To Lathaine that’s alright then instead of it being tinkerer maybe just a flying zeppelin like those found in Shadows exp.
As for my initial thought about tinkering mounts it was my first time not my millionth time like you seem to state in your response about “We’ll End Up In Star Wars World At This Rate” are you kidding me? I highly doubt that this franchise will ever get to the technological advancements of what goes on in the Star Wars Universe from tinkering!

If there are way to much Tinkering tools to begin with in the game then maybe they should just remove the whole tinkering skill from the game in the first place or just stop making anything more with tinkering!
Again I’m only am trying to think of new ideas is all I do like the Phenix idea very much would totally be awesome to see blue and red fire streaming behind a flying Phenix mount over the lands of Norrath!
