Marketplace Gifting Temporarily Unavailable
From the EQ2 Forums:
We’ve found a problem with the Gifting option for the EQII Marketplace, so the service will be temporarily disabled until early next week when we can patch a fix for this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Commentary
It is unknown how many players exploited the StationCash Gifting feature, what punishment they can expect, or when exactly this feature will be restored.

No idea what the exploit was but i bet it has something to do with people using marketplace items to RMT other players.

Rolling new alts in every game SOE offers (EQ2, SWG, etc.), claiming all the free StationCash offered by those games for having new accounts, and then gifting items to other players with that StationCash.
It’s not really an exploit, since it’s completely within the bounds of legal behavior, but nonetheless, it was allowing players to create StationCash out of nothing.
