Fix for Roehn Theer Next Week

From Silius on the EQ2 Forums:

Hello again,

I just wanted to update everyone on the situation. We will be unable to get this fix live until Tuesday. Once again I am sorry for the inconvenience but I offer some assistance. If you are unable to get into the same instance please do the following:

1. Have your raid leader petition so their is only one petition generated for the raid.

2. Place the petition in the stuck character category.

The CS team is aware of this issue and they will do their best to promptly assist by pulling everyone into the same instance. There is no guarantee that they will be able to get to you quickly so I ask that you please be patient. While not an ideal solution, I hope that this is a satisfactory compromise and that you will extinguish your torches and lay down your pitchforks.

Ouch. My inner English nerd is mourning over the incorrect ‘their’ in there.

Stuck petitions take anywhere from 30mins -hour or longer …that would really suck to have to sit around for an hour and wait for someone to pull you into the same zone.

Starseeker, yesterday we formed the raid. the leader petition when we were about 75% done and by the time we were ready to go and in front of the zone, we waited maybe 2min and the GM logged in and got us in. he even pulled someone that was late. In took about 7min for him to answer us. Sad to be forced to do that but at least they made it fast.

wow thats nice, they must be on this..last time I did a zone where we got zoned into multiple instances (not roehn theer), it took them 45 minutes to answer the petition by that time we had left. Good to see they are on top of something.

You can fix this yourself, this bug is a problem bug that has happened before.

Zone your groups into RT. Then with the 4 groups in four different instances, move players around … so move player 6 from group 1 to G4, player 5 from G1 to G3 and player 4 from G1 to G2 … then G2, G3 and G4 zone out … and lastly the players who were initially in G1 zone everyone into the same zone as the remainder of G1. Takes only a few moments, works every time, no petition needed and no waiting.

I know on Saturday night on our second zoning attempt, we couldn’t get any one group into Palace. We each had a separate instance, Grimmond.
