EQ2Wire.com Now With Refreshed Logo!
Today marks the official rename of our site to EQ2Wire.com. No more feldoncentral.com, and while we were at it, we ditched the www’s too. It’s just plain EQ2Wire.com. This should make our site easier to remember, and result in a substantial cost savings on your next tattoo. We’ve also refreshed the logo to make sure we aren’t using any SOE art.
Did you know? EQ2Wire will have T-shirts at Fan Faire!! We’ll post more info later today.

Did they make you not use any SOE art? Is that why the logo change?

We can use EQ2 and SOE art assets on fan sites, but not on any merchandise. In the process of creating the artwork for the T-shirts, I discovered that I could not use EQ or other SOE branding as part of my logo, so I went ahead and made a new logo that (I feel) is very similar to the original.
At no point was I forced to make (or even contacted about) this change. I just wanted to make sure I was 100% legal on the T-shirts and any future items.

EQ2Wire.com was registered for about 1 year, but I was just too busy/lazy to get rid of the redirect and make it official. 😉

I also really love the mobile theme for Wire. For some reason it doenst allow me to post comments with that, it says: `the message is to short`

It’s actually a gold outline, but I agree the lower right corner is a bit dark. I lightened this up for the business cards. When I get a chance I’ll refresh the logo here. 🙂
