Gold Membership?
Early birds trying out Game Update 57 on the Test and Test Copy servers have encountered an intriguing error message when they try to purchase something from the Broker. (don't be alarmed by my ProfitUI broker window, it's the message in the lower right that is worth a second look):
You must upgrade to at least a Gold membership in order to purchase items from the broker.

That is interesting. We'll see hopefully later today when the big "announcement" happens.
Certainly looks like F2P to me. Either that or they forgot to turn that off for GU57... Interesting that they're playing with that internally.
I doubt the "big announcement" would be concerning this.

What kind of idiot is running this? Who decided to push stuff to test that hasn't been announced yet and when feedback is given from the test environment the official stance is "kindly shut up please"???????
F2P, I really hope that's the big announcement!
This is exactly a FTP feature.
Just like the trial accounts cant trade items or talk in chat until they upgrade the membership, this is the exact same thing.
They will copy Warhammer and make the 1st 10 or 20 levels FTP.
I knew it, i think this is going to ruin the game. soe didnt make him new SP for any reason other than they wanted him to lead the game while it goes F2P.
